Single flanged nut type DIN 69051/5 for rolled screws and ground screws
The nut is a key engineering element for the mechanism of recirculating ball screws: the nut accommodates the balls that create the precise, even and low-friction movement typical of B.B. brand screws
For this reason B.B. has designed a series of standard components for rolled screws, which guarantees the customer not only interchangeability but also immediate availability. These products also include the single flanged nut, designed in accordance with DIN 69051/5 standards.
Produced in compliance with stringent B.B. specifications, like all the other nuts the single flanged nut type DIN 69051/5 for rolled screws and ground screws features the innovative internal recirculation system where the rolling track of the nut is divided into several circuits in which the balls run in a closed cycle; at the end of each revolution the balls are brought back to their original position. With this technology, larger load capacities can be obtained by increasing the number of circuits in the nut rolling track, according to the information in the technical characteristics table.
For long-pitch nuts, B.B. has chosen a system where all the balls run along the entire length of the rolling track, exiting one end and re-entering the other via special deflectors.
